In a significant move for the indie gaming landscape, The Chinese Room has regained its independence after completing a management buyout from Sumo Digital. Known for their acclaimed titles like Dear Esther and Everybodys Gone to Rapture, this British studio is now poised to explore new creative avenues, including the development of two original intellectual properties (IPs). Under the leadership of director Ed Daly, The Chinese Room aims to continue its legacy of innovative storytelling while also collaborating with other studios.
